Born and raised in Germany, where he graduated in visual  communications, Toan worked for five years at the design studio Intégral Ruedi Baur and associates in Paris, specialising in the creation of visual identities and signage systems such as the ones at the Centre Pompidou in Paris. At Intégral, Toan won several pitches and was in charge of high-profile projects such as the Cologne Bonn Airport, La Cinémathèque Française and La Cité Internationale de Lyon. Aside from working on institutional projects, Toan Vu-Huu always kept his passion for music and designed album covers for different labels in England and Germany. In 2005, he opened his own design studio for visual communication and also became a teacher at the École Supérieure d’Art et Design in Amiens and thé École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs (ENSAD) specialising in Typography. To create and set up visual identities that are unique and perfectly tailored to clients is Toan’s most important objective.
Since 2008 he works for a growing number of projects under Baldinger•Vu-Huu together with associate André Baldinger.

Toan Vu-Huu est graphiste et directeur artistique indépendant né en Allemagne. Après ses études en art appliqué il décide de s’installer à Paris afin de rejoindre l’atelier Intégral Ruedi Baur et associés, chez qui il restera 5 ans. Il gagne des appels d’offres et prend en charge des projets comme l’aéroport de Cologne Bonn, la Cinémathèque Française, ou encore la Cité Internationale de Lyon. En 2005 il ouvrira son propre atelier avec des clients venant du culturel ou du milieu d’art, comme la Cité nationale de l’histoire de l’immigration, la Cité de sciences, l’École Estienne, le Pavillon d’art contemporain de Clichy, La Mer gelée et Christian Boltanski. Il travail pluridisciplinaire sur des champs variées : identités visuelles, signalétiques, scénographies, éditions et nouveaux médias. Depuis 2006, il partage sa passion sur la typographie et enseigne à l’École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs de Paris.
Dépuis 2008 il travaille pour un nombre grandissant de projets sous Baldinger•Vu-Huu en association avec André Baldinger.

Toan Vu-Huu, geboren in Deutschland, ist freischaffender Grafikdesigner und Art Direktor. Nach seinem Studium an der Hochschule für Gestaltung in Darmstadt, lässt er sich in Paris nieder und arbeitet fünf Jahre für das Designstudio Intégral Ruedi Baur und Partners. Er gewinnt mehrere Wettbewerbe und übernimmt die grafische Leitung von Projekten, wie den Flughafen Köln Bonn, der Cinémathèque française und der Cité Internationale von Lyon.

Seit 2005 arbeitet er für sein eigenes Studio mit einem Kundenkreis der hauptsächlich aus dem Kulturbereich kommt, wie das Museum Cité international de l’histoire et de l’immigration, das Museum Cité de sciences, die Grafikschule École Estienne, die städtische Kunstgallerie Pavillon d’art contemporain de Clichy, das Magazin La mer gelée und den Künstler Christian Boltanski. Toan Vu-Huu arbeitet interdisziplinär in den Bereichen Erscheinungsbilder, Leitsysteme, Szenografie, Print und neue Medien. Seit 2006 teilt er seine Leidenschaft für Typografie und unterrichtet an der staatlichen Hochschule für angewandte Kunst (ENSAD) in Paris.
Seit 2008 arbeitet er für einen stätig wachsenden Kundenkreis unter Baldinger•Vu-Huu mit seinem Partner André Baldinger.
